A Week of Games, Creativity, and Innovation

Dutch Game Week 2025 is a vibrant, week-long celebration of all things gaming, taking place in Breda from November 27 to December 4. The event is organized by Gemeente Breda and Playgrounds, with support from key partners including BUas, Avans Creative Innovation, Dynasty Esports, and many others. This annual festival transforms the city into a dynamic hub for entertainment games, serious games and esports. The week includes a diverse mix of talks, workshops, meet-ups, showcases, tournaments, and interactive experiences, making it a highlight for professionals, students, startups, and gaming enthusiasts.

A central feature of the festival is the Dutch Game Week Conference; A two-day deep dive into the industry with panels, game demos, portfolio reviews, and networking opportunities, held on 3–4 December at the Chassé Theatre. It’s a space for knowledge exchange, career development, and showcasing innovation across the Dutch games ecosystem, from AAA to indie and serious game sectors.

Adding to the momentum, the Dutch Game Awards will take place on 3 December at the same venue. This annual ceremony celebrates excellence in game development across the Netherlands, honoring standout achievements in categories such as Best Game, Best Student Game, Best Debut Game, Best Art, and Best Applied Game, along with special industry recognition awards. It’s a night that brings the community together to spotlight creative talent and impactful work in the Dutch games industry.
